Built in the 17th century replacing the old ruined oratory that existed on the same street, and owed to John Vardon, an Irishman and guard at the University,
Baroque style architecture, with Galil consists of triple arcades of granite and diademed terrace of balusters and tile panel of the Oliveira Bernardes workshop. Inside stand out the fresco paintings (late-mannerists), tile panels and in the main chapel, the 18th century golden carved altarpiece.
