Depending on your geographic position within the city of Lisbon, you can choose to go south crossing the Tejo River by the 25 de Abril Bridge (A2), or the Vasco da Gama Bridge (A12). Then, head towards Évora by the A6 motorway. You can also choose to travel on the national road, N114.
From Spain (Badajoz) - 100 Km (1h average travel time)
Extremely simple course. Just take the A6 for 83 Kms after the border. At the sign indicating Évora, you must leave the motorway and do the remaining 10 Kms on the N18.
From the Norte (Porto) - 375 Km (4h average travel time)
With the opening of the A13, link between Almeirim and the A2 / A6 junction at Marateca, it is no longer necessary to cross Lisbon, to be able to travel from the north of the country to Évora always by motorway. In fact, on leaving the A1, from Santarém you should follow to the IC10 and, later, near Almeirim, to the A13. At the Marateca junction, turn onto the A6 towards Évora.
Do Algarve (Faro) - 225 Km (2h30m average travel time)
You will have to take the connection between Via do Infante (A22) and A2 towards Lisbon. At A2 near Ourique, take the IP2 / N18 detour to Beja and follow this road to Évora.
