Durante uma viagem de estudo à cidade de Washington, Lillian afasta-se da turma e foge. Desapegada de tudo e de todos, embrenha-se pelas cidades e florestas da costa leste dos EUA, envolvendo-se em aventuras inesperadas e conhecendo pessoas ao longo do caminho.
O seu encontro com um activista político anarquista, um professor universitário de extrema-direita e um famoso actor desencadeia uma série de eventos surreais e perigosos.
Com Talia Ryder, Earl Cave, Simon Rex, Ayo Edebiri, Jeremy O. Harris, Jacob Elordi e Rish Shah a assumir as personagens principais, um “road-movie” que reflecte sobre política, identidade e fama.
