Lorenzo Ghielmi, um dos mais importantes organistas da atualidade, apresenta um repertório baseado no estilo antigo instrumental, anterior ao órgão, e o novo estilo pós-barroco contemporâneo do órgão.

O órgão barroco, instalado em 1758, foi construído por Pascoal Caetano Oldovino tendo o entalhamento da caixa sido entregue a Luís João Botelho, resultando num dos mais importantes e esplendorosos trabalhados do pós-barroco português. Este órgão é um dos mais caros produzidos por Oldovino, tendo custado a quantia de um conto de reis.
