Este ano o Museu Nacional Frei Manuel do Cenáculo presta homenagem a Maria Alice Beaumont (1929-2004) no âmbito do Dia Internacional da Mulher. Insigne Museóloga foi Diretora e Conservadora do Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga e de outras instituições, procurando sempre a melhoria da qualificação e valorização dos profissionais dos Museus. Vale a pena recordar no dizer de José Alberto Seabra Carvalho a sua forma de aproximação às obras, o seu estilo sereno da escrita, a sua poética própria. Vários colegas irão dar testemunho sobre o seu fértil legado.
