O projeto RESISTANCE investigou durante os últimos anos os processos de resistência das categorias sociais dominadas e subalternas nos impérios ibéricos, entre 1500 e 1850. Um dos seus principais resultados foi a confirmação da importância da utilização de um conceito alargado de resistência, no qual se incluem as práticas quotidianas de protesto e de participação nos órgãos institucionais das monarquias ibéricas, bem como a negociação (formal ou informal) entre sujeitos históricos. Este projeto será apresentado por Mafalda Soares da Cunha, Professora da UÉ.
