Nápoles, década de 1950. Parthenope tem 18 anos e, por ser muito bela, foi-lhe dado o nome da sereia da mitologia grega, fundadora da cidade de Partenope, hoje Nápoles. Ao longo da vida, será cercada por todo o tipo de personagens, que chegam e partem, extasiados pelo seu encanto, personalidade e curiosidade insaciável.
Em competição no Festival de Cinema de Cannes, “Parthenope” foi escrito, produzido e realizado pelo italiano Paolo Sorrentino (“A Grande Beleza”, “A Juventude”).
