Ana Sofia Paiva, nascida em Lisboa a 13 de Junho de 1981, é formada em Teatro pela Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (2001) e pós-graduada em Promoção e Mediação da Leitura na Universidade do Algarve (2012).
Dedica-se desde 2007 à narração de contos, dentro e fora de Portugal. É membro do Instituto de Estudos de Literatura Tradicional da Universidade Nova de Lisboa e da cooperativa Memória Imaterial, onde trabalha como investigadora, transcritora e investigadora de folclore poético e narrativo.
