Durante a década de 1930 em Telavive (Israel), os britânicos Thomas Wilkin e Geoffrey Morton tentam manter a ordem entre a população judaica e palestiniana, ao coordenar uma equipa antiterrorista com a missão de deter Avraham Stern, líder dos sionistas e responsável por uma campanha de terror no país.
Mas quando Thomas conhece e se apaixona por Shoshana Borochov, filha do famoso Ber Borochov, um dos fundadores do sionismo socialista, coloca-se numa situação muito delicada.
Estreado no Festival de Cinema de Toronto, este “thriller” de acção é baseado na história de Shoshana Borochov (1912-2004) e Thomas James Wilkin (1909-1944) e tem assinatura do inglês Michael Winterbottom.
