A exposição INDIA, patente no Palácio Cadaval, reúne mais de vinte artistas indianos contemporâneos provenientes de contextos culturais diversos, refletindo a riqueza e a pluralidade do subcontinente. Inspirada na visão de alteridade que marcou a cena artística indiana a partir da década de 1970, a mostra coloca em diálogo tradições populares, tribais e contemporâneas. Entre obras sobre papel, pinturas tântricas, retratos monumentais e criações que evocam cosmologias animistas, espiritualidade, feminilidade e erotismo, a exposição revela uma Índia multifacetada, onde culturas dominantes e minoritárias, urbanas e rurais, coexistem e se reinventam.
