Há 20 anos atrás, o departamento de música da Universidade de Évora, motivado pelo desejo de dinamizar e divulgar a classe de trompete e, principalmente, apostar numa formação mais sólida e abrangente para os seus alunos, decidiu insistir na formação de um Ensemble de Trompetes.
Hoje, o Ensemble de Trompete da UÉ toca obras originais, escritas para estas formações, adaptações de temas de Jazz e de música popular e excertos de Orquestra.
O próximo desafio deste agrupamento é, gravar em 2025 as 6 Fanfarras originais compostas pelo Prof. Dr. Christopher Bochmann para o nosso grupo de trompetes.
